Door de Corona steun is de belastingdienst dus een relevante financier geworden van menig onderneming. Door 380.000 ondernemers is van de uitstelregeling gebruik gemaakt. De uitstelregeling was ruimhartig en zag op alle aanslagen zoals inkomstenbelasting, zorgverzekeringswet, vennootschapsbelasting, loonheffing, omzetbelasting en overige meer bijzondere belastingen. Momenteel staan nog ruim 264.000 ondernemers bij de belastingdienst in het krijt samen goed voor circa 19 miljard euro.
